A Rustic Lodge Wedding | Indiana Wedding Photographer | Jake & Arika

This past Friday we had the great honor of documenting Jake & Arika's wedding. It was hot, seriously hot, but you couldn't tell looking at these two. Their wedding day took place at the gorgeous Stone Creek Lodge located in Crawfordsville, IN.

Arika surrounded herself with her closest friends while preparing for her big day, and they were such a fun and helpful group of ladies!

Then it was time to get dressed, you could see that made it so real in Arika's eyes. The joy she was feeling was shining in her eyes, you couldn't help but share in her joy.

The same was true for Jake. He was having a great time with his friends in the grooms suite, and we were all laughing along. When he got dressed, you could tell he was ready to marry the woman of his dreams.

The couple chose to share an intimate moment to touch hands, and get ready to spend their lives together.

And then it was time! We loved the couples ceremony as it was warm and welcoming. The arch was decorated in florals, and the guests were treated to stunning wood Chiavari chairs.

When Arika walked down the aisle, you could see the joy just overwhelming Jake.

They chose to do a branding ceremony to demonstrate their union. We loved watching them smile and interact for that quiet moment during the ceremony.

And then it was time to share that special kiss, and that fun walk back up the aisle as Mr & Mrs!

While we went our way to do portraits, their guests were welcomed to a cocktail hour on a separate patio at the venue. With the fountain running and drinks flowing, they were well taken care of at this couples ceremony!

Arika's gown, florals, and hair piece were absolutely perfect together and gave an elegant vibe to her rustic day.

Jake looked so handsome in his gray suit with his gorgeous boutonniere.

I cannot speak enough kind words about their amazing bridal party. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and ready to do everything they could to make the couples day perfect!

Arika chose to have her grandfather's Bronco at the wedding. A wonderful way to have his presence there with them.

The reception was perfectly decorated and full of fresh flowers and greenery. We were so welcomed by the tall ceilings and huge windows letting in gorgeous sunshine.

And then it was time to let the good times roll! And roll they did! This group was ready to party and have some fun together.

We had one last moment together before our time with the couple ended and we chose to get some evening shots of them. We had so much fun with them, it was hard to leave!

I hope everyday of your lives together is as joyful as your wedding day!
