A Vineyard Wedding | Indiana Wedding Photographer | Christian & Heather

Heather & Christian are one of those couples that you cannot help but adore. They have an incredible joyful spirit that surrounds them, a spirit that makes you smile even on your worst days. We were so honored and overjoyed to share in their day together!

We joined the couple and their bridal party at The Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery. This venue is situated in the vineyard and features high ceilings and gorgeous woodwork.

Heather & Christian surprised each other with amazing gifts, and super sweet love letters on their big day. I won't deny we were all a bit emotional listening to them!

Heather's mom & sister helped her get ready for the day, they were so sweet always taking care of her when she needed it the most.

Heather chose to share an intimate first look with her dad. They had us giggling with joy right along side them.

We loved that Christian also chose to share a first look with his mom! How sweet are they?

Now it was finally time for these lovebirds to join their lives in front of friends and family. Not to mention a little surprise from the mother of the bride!

The couple exited with a horse drawn carriage, and just in case you need to know, the horses name is Bob and Bob is pretty awesome!

Heather & Christian had a large bridal party, but large means incredible in their case! They were super helpful and friendly, and really went above and beyond to make their day special.

One of my favorite things to do is ask the couple their favorite things about eachother, what really made them fall for the other.

When I asked Christian, his answer was, "First off, she’s a SMOKESHOW. But more importantly, she’s my best friend. Since the day I met her she has continued to make me into a better person each and every day. We share the same interests (namely dogs, football, and beer) and where we are opposites, we build each other up. I cannot truly express in words how much I admire her work ethic and passion for school/her career. In all my years in school I’ve never seen anyone with the drive to succeed (read: cry over a B+) that Heather has. The way that she has managed grad school full time, working full time, moving 5 times, and TA-ing full time over the past 3 years blows me away. Every day with her gets better and better, and I’m still unsure why she’s settling to marry me."

And what does Heather love about Christian? "His ability to be ambitious and work hard towards his dreams while never losing his sense of humor and light hearted approach to life. He is the type to live life loud. He pulls me out of my comfort zone and pushes me not to live so cautiously all of the time. He is a dance in the kitchen & play in the rain type of man. He treats me as his partner and equal. He is kind with the sweetest heart but also a strong leader in our home. He builds me up in every aspect of life always making me feel adored, cared for, and appreciated. He encourages me to always chase my dreams and supports me as I do. He compliments me where I am weak. He is truly my other half and best friend."

These two, I swear. They make me emotional just looking back at their photos!

Now lets get this party started!

When they entered their reception, the couple chose to kick off the celebration with their first dance.

The father of the bride, Curt shared a speech with the guests that choked us all up a little. What is it about dad's that always get the emotions flowing?

During dinner Heather & Christian were surprised by a short video from their loved ones who were not able to attend, including a cameo by their adorable pups Penny & Beasley!

Time to cut that gorgeous cake!

The couple enjoyed speeches from their maid of honor and best man before dancing with their parents.

And of course, a little icy garter toss is absolutely necessary!

We finished the night off with a very unique image for the bride and groom. I can say this without a doubt, not even the universe is large enough to hold their love for eachother!

Wishing all the love in the world Heather & Christian!
