Planning a wedding is no small adventure, not to mention a large investment. Most couples choose to celebrate with an average of 150 guests which doesn't always fit the intimate wedding vibe. You may have joked about eloping, but if you just can't bring yourself to do that, you have an amazing option: the micro wedding.
By definition a micro wedding is an intimate affair, typically with no more than 50 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding but on a much smaller scale.
So why exactly should you consider a micro wedding? Lets talk details!
In this day and age we are dealing with an unprecedented condition. We have a worldwide pandemic making it unsafe to gather in large crowds. You feel like you are taking a risk by investing in a large event without knowing if all of your guests will be able to safely attend. With a micro wedding, you can still surround yourself with guests but yet have the ability to feel more connected to the guests who are there.
You can let your imagination run free
Imagine your dream decor, you have the perfect ceremony arch, stunning tables, and florals to die for! But oooo that investment? Guess what? Micro means less tables, which means less expenses. You can get out of the box, and out of your pocketbook to have an incredible wedding aesthetic that your guests (and you) will never forget.
Get fancy
No reason to keep it simple. No matter the size of your wedding, you should ALWAYS feel stunning. Wear that dream gown, dress to the nines in the perfect suit. The day is yours! Accessorize with the things you love.
Enjoy the party
In all the years I have been in this amazing industry, one of the things I hear the most is that the couples are in a whirlwind experience all day and often forget big moments. With a micro wedding, you can truly step back and relax. Enjoy your day, connect with your guests, but most importantly remember how you felt together.
Get the wedding vendors of your dreams
Micro weddings often run shorter amounts of time. That means you can get the wedding professionals of your dreams, with a lesser price tag.
Whatever you do, do whatever you choose! This is a phrase that I have said to so many couples in my years. The only thing that truly matters at the end of a wedding day is that you are married!
